In July, Oji International Language Institute held a “Tanabata Cultural Experience Event.”

Students dressed up in colorful yukata and had the opportunity to enjoy and experience one of Japan’s traditional summer cultural traditions.

They took photos with their friends in yukata, wrote their wishes on tanzaku strips, and spent a wonderful time together filled with smiles and laughter.

Learning Japanese is important, but being able to experience Japanese culture firsthand is also one of the great attractions of studying in Japan.

This Tanabata event gave our students a wonderful opportunity to become more familiar with Japanese culture while creating special and unforgettable memories during their time in Japan.
